This used to be a hotel but has been changed to more basic, but spotless and very practical hostel type accommodation. So ideal for families or travellers on a budget. Lovely small clean rooms with great views from every window. 3 bunks in the room i was in, but I had it all to myself, (which the owners are very happy to do if they're not too busy). So I did have my own en suite room. At a very reasonable price. There's a nice cosy pub downstairs, with a bar menu. So great if you're there on a stormy windy night and you don't want to go looking for food. Check out the frescos on the lounge ceiling ; a local young artist took her inspiration from the wonderful Abbey on the island, where Granuaile, the Pirate Queen, is buried.
