In developing Go Explore Hostel we endeavoured to create a warm communal space to allow for easy interaction between guests. Go Explore Hostel is an ideal place to meet friends along the way or just make new ones.

Guests can relax in our chill out area which is split into two rooms. The back room has a large fire dating around 1840s with comfy couches, TV, DVDs, books, games and internet. The front room is for total relaxation with large floor to ceiling windows spanning stunning views across the sea to the mainland.
We have a large communal kitchen and dining room which opens out onto a private outside area for Go Explore Hostel guests to take in the late evening sun which comes down the valley behind the hostel.
Go Explore Hostel has an in-house bar “Sailor’s Bar” which serves traditional home cooked Irish food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast can be arranged for groups. Here on the right night guests can listen to traditional Irish music and partake in an Irish set dance if brave enough and enjoy a cool pint of Guinness while chatting with the locals.
